Ideally 1+ years' experience in a similar role
Proficient in Front Office Systems, preferable Hotsoft and MS Office, including email
Excellent command of the English language
Manage guest reservations, ensuring that their needs and wants are met and in keeping with the Company standards
Give details, and be familiar with, hotel facilities and pricing information
Up-sell products, facilities and packages that the hotel offers
Be familiar with :
All hotel facilities/services, hours of operation
All packages and promotions
Entertainment/special events scheduled in the hotel
Answer telephone calls within 3 rings, using correct salutations and telephone etiquette.
Process all reservation requests, changes and cancellations received by phone, fax, mail, and internally.
Cover reception shifts when necessary
